Dr. Igor Kadota, a WiMNet Lab Postdoctoral Researcher working on the FlexICoN project, was among the 16 graduate students and postdoctoral scholars selected as LATINE Trailblazer in Engineering Fellows. The fellows will participate in a three-day professional development workshop intended to prepare future trailblazing faculty in engineering to thrive in that role. Fellows are chosen not only for their outstanding scholarly achievements but also for their potential impact in expanding representation and diversity in engineering. During the workshop on July 26-28, Fellows will network with leading faculty in engineering, thought leaders, program managers at key federal funding agencies (including NSF, ONR, AFOSR, and NIBIB) and Purdue Engineering leadership.
